NEPCON covers all products in the electronic manufacturing industry, such as SMT equipment products and materials, PCB manufacturing services and materials, electronic components and materials, automation equipment, etc., held in six countries including Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. NEPCON Thailand is one of the series of exhibitions and is the largest and most professional international electronic manufacturing exhibition in Thailand. It was originally a special exhibition held every 2 years, but due to local market demand and feedback from exhibitors, it has been changed to an annual exhibition since 2013, and has been successfully held for 17 times. In 2017, the exhibition was moved to Hall 98, and the exhibition area has expanded again. It is expected that more than 350 international brands from 22 countries will participate in the exhibition in 2017, and more than 10000 professional buyers will be invited to participate in the procurement.
During the exhibition, an international electronic and electrical seminar and NEPCON procurement conference will also be held, which is an excellent platform for Chinese electronic manufacturing industry manufacturers to explore and maintain the Thai and even ASEAN markets! Thailand as the beginning of MYSUN's foreign trade business, NEPCON Thailand is a regular exhibition we attend every year. We also visit many of our clients in Thailand before and after the exhibition to explore new project cooperation opportunities.
In recent years, Thailand has experienced rapid economic development, abundant labor resources, continuously improved infrastructure construction and investment environment, developed finance and service industries, and a significant increase in external investment. Thailand has attracted increasing attention due to its huge market and economic potential. In terms of the electronic information industry, its software industry is very developed, and the electronic manufacturing industry is also developing rapidly. Many world-renowned electronic manufacturing enterprises have invested in and established factories in Thailand. China's electronic components, materials, and production equipment industries have great potential for exporting to Thailand. Therefore, this exhibition is a good opportunity for Chinese companies to understand the Thai market and expand their exports to Thailand. According to the International Business Situation, Thailand's electronic instrument and component manufacturing industry is dominated by Japanese and Taiwanese companies, with Japanese companies accounting for more than half of the total. The products are mainly sold to Singapore and Malaysia, the United States, the European Union, and Japan in the ASEAN region. Although Thailand is already the largest production base for air conditioning equipment, refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, copiers, printers, hard drives, cameras, and other electrical and consumer electronics products in the ASEAN region, up to 80% of the electronic components required for the production of these products still rely on imports. The International Negotiations Department of the Thai Ministry of Commerce stated that it will actively reach free trade negotiations between ASEAN and six countries including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, and New Zealand before 2015. Construct the largest cooperation agreement in the Asian region, accelerate the export volume of the Thai market, and enable countries to benefit the most from this free trade area.
