The silicone rubber insulation, combined with finely stranded tinned copper (or nickel-plated copper) conductors, allows the wire to bend easily and repeatedly without cracking or losing electrical integrity. It passes rigorous flexing tests of 30,000 to 100,000 cycles at 90–180° swing angles, making it the ideal choice for moving parts, robotic arms, and applications requiring frequent flexing and vibration resistance.
Superior Heat Resistance Up to 200°C
Designed for high-temperature environments, the UL3135 silicone wire maintains stable electrical performance at continuous operating temperatures up to 200°C. The cross-linked silicone rubber insulation provides excellent thermal stability and remains flexible even in extreme cold, offering a wide operating temperature range.
